The Pop-up Ball is Perfect for B2B Direct Mail – as a Pen Holder
The pop-up ball was designed specifically as a promotional marketing product. The fact that it lies flat and has its own mailing pack makes it absolutely perfect for B2B direct mail and direct marketing campaigns. The shape is one of the most attractive in our whole range of pop-up marketing products and this only adds to its appeal and suitability for inclusion in a direct marketing programme. However, if there is one thing that makes the product an excellent choice for B2B direct marketing it is the automatic pop-up action. This adds something special to any direct mail promotion – the positive elements of surprise, interaction and fun.
The ball-shaped pop-up alone is easily capable of contributing to the success of a B2B direct marketing campaign but there is a way to extend the usefulness of the product beyond the expected time frame of the direct mail promotion and it is a very simple operation. All that is required is that a few holes are added to the top of the pop-up ball in order to convert is to a pen holder. By doing this the ball becomes a product that will stay on your customer’s desk top for months and months. Every time your customer reaches for a pen your sales message will be working for you.
The ball-shaped pen holder can be made to hold 6 or 7 pens depending on the pattern of holes that is added to the top of the product. The pen holder in our picture has a 6-hole pattern which leaves a nice little area in the middle of the pens for a logo or a sales message. Whilst the pop-up ball is often printed as a calendar, the ball as a pen holder is not particularly suited to this as the ball has to be turned upside down after 6 months to reveal June to December dates. That would mean having to have holes in the top and the bottom of the product which is not ideal.
