Message on a bottle – a new promotional marketing idea for Whitney Woods
Quite recently as I was wandering down the wine and spirits aisle of my local supermarket gathering essentials for a party I was planning that weekend, I came across what is commonly known as a Bottle Tower. Always on the lookout for new promotional ideas I was inspired by what I saw and my search swiftly changed from a bottle of wine to a search for bottle media. This continued over several weeks and across many different supermarkets, and at the end of it all I was a little disappointed with what I found. This started me off thinking and all of a sudden I was struck by great opportunity for a new range of Whitney Woods Products – The Bottle Boutique.
I quickly set about creating the new range of bottle media products, the first of which was the Collar and Tie which is very simplistic and that proved that things don’t have to be complicated to work. Easy to use, easy to make and very easy on the eye – sounds like a winning formula to me!
I get a real glow when something that is really striking is also dead simple and the Butterfly Bow ticks both these boxes. The collar is based on the “fit” of The Tower bottle collar and the look of a bow tie. The wings of the bow form an attractive, eye-catching display and by adding those wings, we gained the space to be able to create the interlocking mechanism. Once the basic mechanism was in place it was then simple enough to adapt the tabs at the front in to various eye catching shapes such as the Butterfly, Love Heart Bow and Star Bow.
All of the bottle media products in the range are supplied ready to use. They come packed flat, folded and ready interlocked and as soon as you pick one up it is ready to slip over the bottle neck automatically forming a very distinctive display.
