New Marketing Ideas – Pop up Building Blocks and Pop-up Dice
We have seen a new trend recently for our pop-up cubes. Customers have been ordering them in multi-packs with up to four cubes per mailing outer. These custom-designed jobs have been commissioned to accomodate various advertising concepts and marketing ideas. To back up a gambling theme, two cubes in a pack have been printed to look like dice. Another idea has been to print three or four pop-up cubes to look like children’s building blocks or alphabet blocks.
In both instances, the promotion has proved to be a terrific success. Not only do the cubes compress to make a neat mailing pack, the interaction between the cubes once the pack is opened gives an excellent pop-up effect with the cubes jumping high into the air. This creates great excitement, surprise and fun; elements which add to the character of the campaigns.
We find that our pop-up cube is the product that is most likely to be produced in multi-packs and the versatile format has been used to create other successful campaigns. The original concept remains the domain of our customers’ creative departments but we are very happy to help with the logistics, the print, the production and the eventual mailing of any direct marketing project such as these.
