New Magazine Inserts: Tip-ons, Bound-In and Loose inserts
Here’s something new for advertisers – a range of ideas for magazine inserts that are guaranteed to produce high response rates and generate good brand recall.
You can now see a selection of higly interactive inserts on our website that have been chosen specifically for use as magazine inserts and cover mounts. Each one has a high degree of reader interaction that is far in excess of standard inserts such as leaflets, postcards and bound-in cards and it is that element which makes them perform so much more successfully.
Take bound-in inserts as an example. A simple pop-up card makes a highly effective bound-in insert because of the interaction of opening the card to find an impressive pop-up display. We recommend two different pop-up actions – the V-fold and the stand-up card – as they provide a neat yeat comprehensive variation in styles.
Tip-ons are also covered. Affixing an item to a full page ad can be very rewarding in terms of response particularly if the tip-on is interesting. Sample sachets are a typical example of what you will find in many magazines but we provide B2B advertising solutions and so we aim for reader interaction to give you a “hook”. One good example is the versatile A6 picture dissolve which can portray all kinds of promotional themes.
You also have some great new suggestions for loose inserts which will knock spots off the usual fare of A4 leaflets and flyers. Let’s look at one example in particular – table talkers. Here’s a loose insert that could end up as a display on your reader’s desk! Available with print on both sides, copmplete with a simple interactive assembly and resulting in a stand-up triangular table-talker or tent card.
