Powwownow were looking for a direct mail piece to help promote their Premium service.
In addition to an integrated multi-channel approach including an email journey, phone calls, LinkedIn campaign and advertisements on various public transport links, they also decided to run a direct mail campaign to a select number of quality contacts.
“By targeting 1,000 SME CEOs and HR Managers in the London area, we hoped to generate quality sales leads for our Premium audio offering. By sending an engaging DM to these carefully selected quality contacts we hoped to generate a high response rate.”
The promotion offered customers a 2 month free trial to Powwownow’s Premium service so they could experience the benefits of the service and how it would work for them.
“Rather than just sending people the usual A4/A5 flier, we wanted something out of the ordinary to help our promotion stand out. The pop up action of the cube let us do exactly that, adding an element of surprise and intrigue when people received and opened the mailer.”
Powwownow felt the pop up cube was perfect for their direct mail promotion due to its size, cost and usability. Supplied in its own mailing wrap, the pop up cube compresses ‘flat’ and can be mailed as a large letter to keep postage costs down. As Whitney Woods offer mailing services, we were also able to mail the cubes direct from our production room.
