Next time you are in your local supermarket take a look at what’s on the bottles as well as what’s in them. One or two will carry promotional messages. A tag, perhaps, hanging from the bottle neck offering a chance to win a holiday. It could be a collar that is wrapped around the neck of the bottle telling you about a special offer. There won’t be many, but they will be there. Have you noticed them before? Maybe not and we believe that there are reasons for that.

One is that the automated placement of such item is limited to certain formats and those formats dictate that the bottle collar is an uncomplicated affair. To me, that defeats the object of the promotion. If the idea of this style of drinks marketing is to catch a consumer’s attention and to persude the casual shopper to buy that brand, then how can it grab the attention if it doesn’t stand out? It’s a bit like doing unimaginative direct mail that goes straight into the bin.

We do a fantastic range of bottle collars including standard styles but we also have many new and innovative styles that really do stand out. All are easily put onto bottles though the application would have to be done by hand in some instances. We have a full section devoted to nothing but drinks and wine on-bottle marketing products.
