Attention-Grabbing Direct Mail – the Flying Trapezium
The trapezium is not a particularly unusual shape but the word “trapezium” is not one that is heard everyday. However, the shape forms that basis of three very popular pop-up items in the Whitney Woods range of attention-grabbing direct mail products.
The first one that I will tell you about is called the Pop-up castle. The 4 sides of this promotional pop up product are isosceles trapeziums. The overall shape is most commonly printed as a castle or a similar theme such as a tower. The castles and the accompanying Zippalopes are printed in 4 colour process on 500micron folding box board and the castle is rubber band powered.
The promotional item in the picture couldn’t look less like a chocolate box but it does go to illustrate the versatility of these products! Each of the 4 sides are trapezium-shaped. Printed in 4-colour process on 500micron folding boxboard the product is rubber band powered and it comes with its own printed mailing Zippalope.
And finally, we have a “spherical” promotional item that is made up of 2 hexagons and 12 trapeziums. It is the trapeziums which often get printed with dates to create promotional calendars. The 6-Ball is printed in 4-colour process on 500-micron folding boxboard, it is rubber band powered and supplied with printed mailing envelope.
