Neat cardboard engineering idea – Pocketina Card added to Pocket-sized Product Range
We have added a new product to our range of pocket-sized products and folding products. This handy piece of promotional material is based on a simple concertina fold and when folded, it fits neatly into your pocket – hence the name, Pocketina Card. The thing that makes the product attractive is the reverse fold with the die-cut on the half-cover. This serves to highlight a main point of the promotion. In the instance of the example in the picture below, the company logo is the die-cut feature.
Ever since Z Cards came out of Runcorn in the early 1990s, printed pocket-sized media has played an important part in promotional print. The product was introduced because a major airline found that in-flight information passed out on A4 sheets was simply not working for them. Z Cards were retained by the recipient just because of the neat handy size and the Z Card product has been a great success ever since. Our Pocketina card is sized A7 so it will fit into a pocket or handbag without fuss. The big thing that it offers is that it grows to over 2ft in length when it is fully opened.
There are 3 main attributes to this card; its handy size; the fact that unfolds to over 600mm and the die-cut emblem on the cover. The die-cut can be more or less any shape and so your imagination can run wild with that thought. The other two points can combine to suggest ideas of growth.
The die-cutting aspect of this product will mean that the product is always custom made and will need a new cutting forme. However, that also means that you can change the size etc to create a totally custom-made product.
