Pop-up Pyramid Popular as Publicity Product for Events and Exhibitions
When I was a little lad I always was in awe of pyramids. My dad once took me to the pictures and in the film some explorers went into long, dark corridors which led to enormous chambers filled with mummies, statues and lots of gold and treasure. Pyramids seemed to be majestic places but filled with fear. Once the explorers entered the chamber some sort of mechanism was triggered that made a big stone block come sliding out of nowhere to trap the explorers deep within the colossus. I seem to remember a scene with a poisonous snake, too, which added to the tension.
And then Calypso* invented Jubbly which was an orange ice lolly in a pack that seemed to be like a pyramid and so the shape suddenly became a fun thing. And that’s the way it has stayed.
Our custom-printed automatic pop-up pyramid is a popular shape and is featured in The Events Emporium as an event invitation and as an exhibition handout or trade show giveaway. It is supplied compressed in its own mailing pack which is also custom-printed. We are also able mail out your pop-up pyramid event invitation to your own customer and contact database to make sure that the pop-up action is good and fresh and to aid expediency.
This attractive pop-up has always been a hit at exhibitions and events and has a broad appeal being popular with academic advertisers as well as being adopted for more playful themes. It has been produced for many types of events including product launches, seminars, Christmas celebrations and the pop-up pyramid in the picture was used to publicize the screening of an animated film – “Alvin and the Chipmunks”.
*Calypso was the first company to use the Tetrapak Tetrahedron which isn’t a pyramid at all, but we didn’t know the word “tetrahedron” up our street.
