Bottle tags – ensure your promotion is seen amongst the sea of competition
We all know that the wine and spirits aisle at any supermarket can easily become a sea of ‘samey’ looking bottles which is all too easy to get lost in. So when you’re running your next promotional campaign and trying to grab the attention of the consumer, how do you go about this?
Neck tag promotions are a common sight but we believe that adding invention and creativity to these bottle tags has to contribute to its visibility on the supermarket shelf. Now I know what you’re thinking, how much ‘creativity’ can you bring to a single piece of card? Die-cutting holds the key. The first most obvious idea that we suggest you might look at to give the bottle tag some character is making a shaped tag. You don’t have to go mad – it doesn’t have to be a scale model of Buckingham Palace or anything, but if you can find a shape to tie in with your promo then all the better. A very simple example would be ball-shaped to match a sports theme or bottle shaped if you are promoting a drink.
