Fun Marketing Idea – Wiggle Eyes can add some life to your Promotional Products
The marketing idea or suggestion that I have for adding a fun element to your promotional products involves another one of those products that no-one knows what they are called. You have seen them on toys, on greeting cards and on many kinds of playful products. I’m talking about those little plastic domes with a black disc inside that look like eyes. Some call them simply plastic eyes. To others they are modelling eyes but the two most descriptive terms are wiggle eyes and jiggle eyes.
These little add-on products have been around for ages but they can still be a very effective way of adding a bit of fun, life and zest to a promotion that might otherwise be a little bit passé. Let’s say that your idea is to produce a pop-up box featuring a cartoon character like, say, Sponge Bob or Homer Simpson. Think how much more life it would have if it had jiggle eyes or wiggle eyes instead of just printed eyes.
Jiggle eyes might seem a bit juvenile for business-to-business marketing but it is surprising just how much they can appeal to the child in all of us. They really do lift a product and might be considered as an addition to any light-hearted graphics featuring glasses, goggles, binoculars, a telescope, a camera and so on.
